Have a new bathroom with bathroom remodeling ideas.
If your bathroom is starting to look its age and you would like nothing better than to simply rip the whole thing out and start over but just do not have the funds to do so – take heart, there are a few ways that you can revamp your bathroom without breaking your budget. Here are a few bathroom remodeling ideas that are very reasonably priced and that can be done either by yourself or friends without the help of professional installers.
Painting is an instant fix for bathrooms. Instead of sticking with hospital white you could try a bold new color – say yellow or a pastel pink. Paint can easily transform a room from drab to delightful. If you add appliqués or stencils to the job, then you can punch up the space that much more. Another great remodeling idea for your bathroom is changing the faucets and fixtures. By replacing old, dulled or stained faucets for hip, new, contemporary models you will definitely bring a bit of glam back into your old bathroom. Changing a faucet is as easy as turning off the main water supply, unscrewing the old faucets and installing the new one. Hey, if I could do it – then anyone can! Changing the light fixture is another easy way of giving your bathroom a whole new look. Some of the older lighting looks terribly dated by today’s standards and opting for a more fashionable lighting fixture will shed some light on a dark subject!
If you are willing to spend a bit more money and put in more work in the remodeling of your bathroom then another great idea is to retile the place. By removing the old floor and/or wall tiles and replacing them with newer, more interesting ones, you can give new life to an old space. Granted changing the tiles will involve the demolition of the old ones and the installation and grouting of the new ones, but the finished look will be more than worth the effort. The granddaddy of all bathroom-remodeling projects is changing the toilet bowl, sink and bathtub. Although for these bigger jobs I would call a professional to help with the installation. Trying to do it on your own can result in leakage and more money than you would initially spend by just hiring a professional to do the job.
Remodeling can be a lot of fun, but you have to be willing to put in the time and effort for it to look good.

Marble & Granite stone vessel sinks
June 19, 2006
Designers are loving the effects stone sinks have in the bathrooms. Handmade stone vessels are now comming down in price, to the point where many poeple are putting them in their own homes. I remember the first time I saw one was in an upscale bar, and the sink was mounted on top of the bathroom vanity, and the taps came right out of the tile wall. This style was a fantastic addition that really made you feel like the owners had taken care of every detail. My husband and I both commented on how nice they were, so when it came time for a bathroom renovation, we already knew what we wanted.
